Description

There are stories told of German experiments with a captured UFO in the early 1940s. This led to some remarkable German aircraft, including a flying disc. These may have been the origin of the “Foo Fighters” reported by Allied bomber crews. Some of these prototypes and the scientists and engineers working on them were captured at the end of the war. They were all transported to the US and Wright-Patterson Field (where the Roswell wreckage was supposedly taken) and the Air Force continued the work. There is some Air Force film of a flying disc that got airborne but lacked the needed power. The experiments were stopped or, some say, transferred to Area 51 in Nevada. In this picture, a monitor aircraft follows an Air Force test vehicle over the Nevada desert under cover of a pair of F-86s. Thanks for looking and I appreciate all your comments.

Best guess for the green aeroplane would be an Anson with Sabres in the background. The germans developed some weird aircraft from 1944 but were hampered by a chronic lack of fuel.

Hehe, this are called in german "Reichsflugscheibe" in english "Empire Flying Disc". There are rumors Hitler fled with such a Reichsflugscheibe to Antarctica where he is still alive... :o)
