Description
This is a collection of lobster buoys in Rockport, Massachusetts. Just wanted to give you an idea how creative lobstermen can get to identify their lobster traps and protect from lobster trap poachers. I had posted the right half of this photo on July 10, 2010. Zoom works for a closer look.

Great shot of the individually configured buoys, Dana. They resemble dreidels. This is surprising in that all the buoys I've ever seen are huge.

They are pretty fancy up there, on Long Island, NY most are just old bleach bottles with numbers on them. Wonderful capture! :)
