Description
I found this sculpture, in Rockport, Massachusetts, July 22, 2009. The Baby and Frog by Richard Recchia 1885 � 1983. There was no date of when the sculpture was completed. Zoom does not work.

Dimensions: Sculpture; approx. 41 x 28 x 64 in.; Base: approx. H. 11 x W. 7 1/2 in. Inscription: (On bronze base of sculpture:) R.H.RECCHIA signed Description: A large leaping frog with a nude figure of a baby riding on its back. The frog is attached to a circular bronze base which rests on a granite boulder that is installed in a brick patio.

That is such a wonderful sculpture. I wish I had it. I love their expressions, they are having such fun. My grandmother was terrified of frogs so of course everyone in our family gave her frogs on all occasions. This would have been a perfect gift for her garden.
