Description
Most of you know that we live in a condo complex in south Florida. I have been on the board of directors for the last 9 years. We lost our president, vice president and a director this year. That is the loss of 3 out of seven. I have been handed the presidents position and have spent most of the last month developing a budget for 2012. That budget dictates our monthly condo fee for next year. It has cost me the joy of visiting your galleries and commenting.
Most of you also know that my wife, Jo, had an eye operation the end of November. Things are progressing on schedule and we have the last minute opportunity to take a four day cruise for $99 each. So I will fall further behind on comments. I will be back and rested on Tuesday and I will catch up. Hopefully with a camera full of great photos.
This posting is of a birdbath converted into a bird feeder (not on our property). The two colorful birds, top and left, are Gouldian finch. I am not sure but I think that the rest are all in the finch family. Have a great weekend. Worthy of a zoom.

The bird feeder must be a popular spot if this keen foto is any indication, Dana. Probably filled with choice organic seeds. Great clarity and color in this pic, and do I detect Canna leaves on both sides of the image? And have a nice trip.

What a bargain, a 4 day cruise for only $99 ! - that is unheard of, where we live! and after the 4 day cruise, I think that the bird-feeder will be empty again ;( and should I say congratulations or commiserations Mr.President ? quite an honour in my books, of course it's voluntary, right? gotta love Finches ... BB
