My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

I love Utah and this is one of many reasons

What a gorgeous pop of color! I love the upthrust of rock in the background too; it makes me think of my long-vanished childhood and the woodlice I kept in a series of glass environments. I was always looking for rocks with that overall shape...something rugged and exciting for little 14-legged creatures who seemed more interested in living under it. The colors here are superb and so incredibly lively! There's something deliciously otherworldly about those trees: the trunks seem so thick and sensual and the yellowed leaves make me think that perhaps this is summer, on another planet. Maybe one within the Nemaean Territories...in which case, we're in for it if Dorianna, Ilya, and Aleo are wandering around in this shot...finding trouble--or in Dorianna's case, making it!

Anyone who says photograpy isn't art hasn't seen this.
