Description

Just realized that I haven't presented this one here - it was my entry for the 2011 E-ON Environment Competition. Didn't win anything or go anywhere really :) "Cream of the Crop" at C3D, though. Vue 8.4 render, signature & a bit downscaling in Photoshop for this version, no other postwork. Water effects made with procedural materials and metaclouds. Thanks for viewing. Wow. Well, the images they picked for the contest were very impressive, but so is this one. I think they might have been looking for a somewhat specific drama, considering the judges all seemed to be matte painters. This is very beautiful and visually interesting, but there's something very peaceful to it. I like the turtles, too. I think this came out very realistically, with good composition and light.
