Beautiful composition, colors, and light! I like the gentle curve made by the flowers and the way you have them in profile, full face, and 3/4 face perspectives. The one full faced seems to have a little smile on his face. I didn't forget the one suffering from a bad hair day. Hopefully he had his day in the sun too and can think back on former days of glory. He's kind of cute back there with his scraggly bangs. Great dof. The blurred tan and green make a beautiful backdrop. Excellent capture!

And the poor, troubled man cried out, "Why me oh Lord, why me?" And a voice answered back, "Everyone has to have a hobby." This is a great image and the title is perfect. Poor flower, used up and near the end of the line. It almost seems as if the other flowers have turned their backs on it.

This is a most sweet and gorgeous image my friend. :))))) The one that has lived its life will now plant its seeds so that next year one can grow back so they too can enjoy the golden beauty of the land around it, and the beautiful sun that will shine down upon it. :))))))) Thank you for the smile. :)))) I hope this finds that life is being most fair to you my friend. :))))) Most excellent capture. :))))))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :)))))))

Ah yes, but if you look closely, you will see, it is a double stalk flower. It has had its time in the sun and had its fun and now it is time to pass on so that its sister can have her share of the resources and liver her ephemeral life. It is really not unfair at all; it only appears that way.
