Description
Amy snook out the other day, and I knew she was up to no good. She went back to the Enchanted Forest.
Quite a few of you have been asking me to bring back my furryfolk and continue the stories within the enchanted land, so here is a little tale just for you at Christmas.
Amy found the way back quickly to the Enchanted Forest; she had grown fed up with Freddie who was always teasing her, and pouncing on her from behind chairs etc, and being as Mistapus needed his sleep more than most, she decided to make an adventure for herself.
That was her first mistake as she climbed frozen trees in the frozen forest. Everything was very still, you know what I mean when there has been a fresh snowfall and it is late at night and everyone is inside their cosy homes keeping warm, so still and hardly a breath of wind, I love it when that happens.
The still frozen silence did not last long as before her she saw 2 beautiful frozen forest birds, and well; she is a cat afterall, so she simply had to have some fun trying to bat them with her paw, and at the same time trying to keep her balance turning and twisting her tail to keep her steady, she was having so much fun.
Amy knew from the days when her and her friends travelled around the Enchanted Forest that the bluebirds within Fairies Frozen Forest hardly ever flew, but loved to perch on branches and sing their beautiful haunting songs.
Before long 2 of the residents of that sparkly place were out watching Amy, and one of them called out to her. "Stop teasing the bluebirds or I shall cast an enchantment upon you, so that you can never climb trees again"! That fairy was grinning at her but Amy noticed the magical orb she carried, so did not need anymore telling, and besides, Christmas would be here soon, and she would far rather spend it at home in the warm being pampered by her people.
So as quick as a heartbeat, Amy scurried away, and was so disappointed that the friends she made before in that beautiful forest did not live there anymore, so would not be going back to that frozen place in a hurry... THE END
Thank you my dear friends for all your support and your friendship over the last year, I am certainly very blessed to know such special people.
I made a couple of mistakes when submitting the backgrounds to my store, but am sorting that out and hope to try again in a couple of days. This is one of the backgrounds I submitted, but I have altered it quite a bit. I painted the background using wacom intuos3 tablet and pen.
The birds were created a while back and mostly using various styles etc. in CS4.
The fairies are by Leilana
The photo of Amy is part that and part painted by me.
I will upload another picture tomorrow that features, another of my painted backgrounds(A Yorkshire farmhouse scene), a painted Santa, some reindeer, along with Mistapus, Freddie and Simba, I hope you like it, so see you then x

Sis, it's hard to think of a better way to start the Christmas weekend than with a trip to your gallery. First of all I'm so thrilled your doing better and felt like putting this lovely creation together. Also glad you listened to your fans and decided to give us more tales from The Enchanted Forest. This one was especially delightful, and I love how you featured little Amy in it. This was a wondrous tale and Amy seemed to learn an important lesson in it. Keeping you and your fur babies in my prayers.
