Description
Captured 11/10/11, late on an overcast morning, at the beautiful Cerritos Shopping Mall in beautiful Cerritos, California.
Actually, these are the benches parked on the outside of the mall. I have pics of other types inside the mall itself that I will be posting sooner or later. Picture 3 is a repost from some weeks ago. Fotos 4 and 5 show the same bench, but I included #5 because it reminded me of Andrea's nursing home shots. The lady was waiting for a friend/relative to accompany her to lunch. When I was wandering around the area snapping many photos of the benches, she expressed no interest in my efforts.

Another fine collection of benches, Harry, excellent work here! In my youth I used to work at that mall. I'm sure it's changed in the 40 or so years since then--I know I have.

I do love the 'chunky' one as well, sort of 'The Flintstones' - style ... Another bunch of benches for us to ponder upon...afterall that's what a bench is for:) Excellent selection and adding a person always brings life to these inanimate but oh, so useful devices. Happy birthday and Happy New Year to you Harry.

The first one looks retro-futuristic to me. I like it, in it's shiny, pristine shape. I like the second one too, but for comfort sake, I prefer benches with backs. I like the last image, with the bench in its element. Nice series and great captures!

Sweet group of photos Harry. I like the photo of #2 but could not sit there with my gimpy back. I like #1, #3 and #4 - they look comfortable. I love the people study in #5. Reminds me of my Mom. Focused on her friends arrival. Nothing will distract her.
