Snow effects made with the terrain material painter.

Gee Lars.. This is really nice! The contrast between the snow against the dark sky yet sun lit trees and the touch of dry grass is all wonderfully done.. But like others in this series... what I like most is the very realistic poses of your figures. The angle of his shoulders and weight on his left leg! .... I'm impressed and inspired as I get ready to work with Poser myself...something to shoot for. Hope you had a wonderful holiday and ready to start the new year. Don

I don't think I've ever seen you use a palette quite like this one. I can't say if it's more saturated or what, but it's definitely a new look for your work. I think it looks incredible, as does your previous work. It's always great to see experienced artists keep exploring and experimenting. The snow looks great, the terrain is impressive, and the sky is really striking. Even though it has a lot of contrast, the lights and darks seem very well balanced.

Superb! The sky has a total sense of winter with the mixture of blue and grays. Perspective and composition are excellent. The old roadway is done beautifully and great job on the ground materials. The funniest thing is that this looks very much like a place on hill across town from mine. It has an old roadway/driveway (now overgrown) and the remnants of a stone foundation from colonial times. And it does indeed look down the valley towards town. Uncanny. Awesome work.
