Description

"The knight has made it into the territory of the Elves. He has been intercepted by a female ranger/scout, who is leading him into the "Black Swan Watemill" village complex. A little on the alert - you never know with the Elves, the word has it - he is following, walking tentatively beside his horse..." My first post of 2012, back to the series with the knight. A few scenes have been skipped (never to be made, I've decided) so we've rushed to some more interesting stuff :) Related: "A New Journey Begins" thumb_2246687.jpg "Black Swan Watermill" Elven Village thumb_2189374.jpg Vue, Poser and Photoshop. Items from DAZ, C3D, and myself. Thanks for viewing - comments always welcome and appreciated. Have a nice day - Lars

Superbly composed scene. Vegetation and light are excellent and I would like to see a bigger picture of this as it seems that a lot is going on in the background. I hope you will develop this part.:)

A great series of scenes Lars....I particularly like this one, the attention to detail right down to the figures around the buildings. Also like how you have set the background to a bluish tree growth rather then sky...a real feel for being down in a valley. I also like how you have the main character in shadow as she looks back at him. Wish I could give you more then 5

I know it's kind of a weird reaction, but I really like how the sunlight looks on the trees. Especially the one in the center. It's such an interesting shape. I also like what you've done with the patches of light and shadow cast by the trees and the main figures. There's something a bit softer and more realistic about this lighting as compared to the other image of the village. I like the plants in the foreground, though they seem a bit stiffer than your usual underbrush. I'm glad the story has continued to be fun for you and inspire you. Kudos!
