Description

Happy birthday my son! The Tree of Life, a sculpted 145 foot (44.2 meters) tall â�� 50 foot (15.24 meters) wide tree, is the centerpiece and icon in Walt Disney Worlds Animal Kingdom theme park. Paths weave around and through this homage to nature. Stroll the trails to see a swirling tapestry of 325 animals carved into the bark of this massive attraction. Look for creatures like a Tiger, Bison, Seahorse and an Elephant at the lower right. A theater is housed in the Tree of Life root system. Info from the Disney World web site. The tree is not real and I expect that it is molded fiberglass. You can also see a live Kangaroo, Crested Crane and deer in the area below the tree. This photo was taken in 2000 with a pocket camera. OMG, a tree right out of a Harry Potter movie! Stellar subject matter for the birthday dedication. Yes, Happy Birthday to your son! What an awesome trunk and limbs on this beauty! Several dryads could fit into the base.
