Description

No this lighthouse is not in California, but in Aruba. Located on the northwest corner of the island, it stands as a silent sentry in the area known as "Hudishibana". The lighthouse was named after a U.S. ship the California - which sunk approximately two years before construction begun in 1910. The lighthouse site offers a spectacular view of the sunset as the final shades of sunshine paint a colored canopy over the water.

Never thought it would have so many windows being in Hurricane territory! Looks like a great one to go into though. Any public access?

It's so tall! Looks like it would be a great place to take pictures from if you went up inside...
