Nice shot of a historic building. Built in the roaring '20s. Yup! Quite obvious, considering the decorations. Who'd spend money today on friezes so high up few even notice them? The converging and intersecting lines give an idea of height here. Interesting - the green shows in the sunlit part, but vanishes completely in the shadow; high contrast here. I wonder how the grren would have appeared if this were a cloudy (or rainy) day. I wonder who does the windows and polishes the gilding. Keep up the good work! :-)

It's a marvelous creation, this building; I wish there were more like this around. Love the neck-craning POV, showing the heavens up above, and the bottom view of that scrumptious lamp post!

Roaring 20s is right! I can just imagine the tommy guns and gang warfare now. Outstanding POV employed in this magnificent image, Bill. Stellar clarity, sky, lighting effects, even the balls at the lower right, a lamp post I assume.

Well it has lasted a lot longer than a champagne bottle would have. I love the mellow look of it and the lights go so well with it too. An excellent photo from a great POV.
