In 2005 and after 31 years in the brewing industry I chose "Freedom 55" and retired early. This allowed me to follow my passion of scuba diving and travel. I moved out to Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada for 3 years and became a professional scuba instructer.  Shortly after returning from New Zealand in the fall of 2011, I have been having to deal with a couple of non diving related medical issues which has forced me to hang up the mask and fins for a spell. This should give me more time for taking pictures...lol.

"Most people can look back over the years and identify a time and place at which their lives changed significantly. Whether by accident or design, these are the moments when, because of a readiness within us and a collaboration with events occurring around us, we are forced to seriously reappraise ourselves and the conditions under which we live and to make certain choices that will affect the rest of our lives."

You shot is great but I find that the window clashes severely with its surroundings. Congratulations on 200!!

What a pretty stained glass window with its lovely shades of green. Simple but effective. I like the pattern of the stone too.

Very nice! I think it might also look very good with the glass in color and the rest in black and white. Just a thought...

Superb! Now this is unique and creative, in so many ways! I love the matrix of the brick work here.... and the stained glass looks incredible! Such fabulous colours that seem to compliment each other so well, and yet contrast just enough to keep the viewer's curiosity wandering... I wonder what the rest of this structure must look like... hmmm... a very beautiful presentation!
