I love the openness of this shot, something that really shouldn't be there since there's a lot of stuff in it, but it's open...there's a feeling of space, of airy freshness and a whole summer stretching out in at least two directions. The colors are marvelously delicate and the petals make me think of the delicate stroke of a cat's whiskers on a wall, as the cat casually saunters by. I love that aspect of this shot!
