"Right" said Zwoggle as he approached the pond "Lets get sorted." Meadow was very impressed how Zwoggle came over & started taking things into his own hands. She wondered how she could have thought that he wasn't "all there" when she first met him. It did upset her a bit. "What do you want me to do"? asked Jasmine, standing at the edge of the ice. "I have it all in hand" Zwoggle replied, just let me get on with it please. "Mind you, you could just make sure Spot keeps off the ice, we don't want him to get stuck." "I will see to that" said Jasmine. Zwoggle looked at Zlata & shouted over to her. "Now then Zlata, I am Zwoggle & I live not far away." "I don't mean to be rude but could you just get on with rescuing me & we can talk later" pleaded Zlata. "Sorry of course." he replied. "Now I am going to throw the sack that I am carrying over to you & I want you to catch hold of it." "Then you will pull me out" asked Zlata. "Yes but please listen." Zwoggle called to Zlata. "When you get hold of the sack, hold on with your hands over your head & make sure you have your back to me." "Why." questioned Zlata. "Oh do stop asking questions Zlata. I want to pull you out on your back so that your pretty face doesn't get scratched on the ice." Zwoggle was getting a bit impatient now. Zlata blushed a little, pretty face she thought, Zwoggle isn't a bad looking little fella either. Suddenly her thoughts came to an abrupt end as she felt something hit her on the back of the head. "Are you ready Zlata." Jasmine called "Zwoggle has thrown the sack to you." Zlata did as she was told, she held the sack above her head, she felt movement, made sure she stayed on her back & suddenly she was sliding over the ice. Spot started to woof, Zwoggle pointed in his direction & told him not to even think about venturing onto the ice again. "Never mind Spot." said Meadow as she lay watching the rescue. "Get Zlata back please." All it needed was a few more tugs & Zlata was back on the snow. Everyone shouted "HURRAH, HURRAH, well done Zwoggle, you are our hero. Spot ran round WOOF WOOFing" "Think nothing of it, so glad I could help" he said as he helped Zlata to her feet to check she was ok. The friends crowded round Zlata who asked Zwoggle if he would come back with them & celebrate. "I would love to." he replied. So off they went, Zlata so glad to be on her two legs again. Meadow just so happy she had found Zwoggle. While Jasmine was thinking of a way they could loose Spot. Trust Jasmine!! Background, zwoggle, dog, lantern - Leilana.
