300TH UPLOADS IN 5.5 YEARS
Well it's almost 5.5 years, about a month or so shy.... I chose this Picture for my 300th Image because I was just notified that I placed 3RD in the Photography contest for Christmas - theme was: Holiday Dreams.
Naughty & Nice
I used a cheap polaroid didgital camera that I received from the bank for opening up an account many years back... I used a photo program called Photo Explosion.
A few things inspired me to make this... the theme for the contest made me think of that magical time of the night where children fall asleep for just that 5 minute period - just long enough for Santa to sneak inside in the Dark... I started thinking of cookies then and what would be the best cookie to give Santa... Well, of course chocolate chip came to mind, but then I thought of this picture I had emailed to me of heart shaped cookies but the frosting gave it a hint it was something else - lol... I went back to thinking if these kind of cookies were on a plate and Santa was sneaking around in the dark, he wouldn't notice what kind of cookie he picked up until right before he bit into it - then I thought - that's it... that's the picture I want to do - and I want to capture the look on his face when he sees it - lol
I used several photos of people and my Santa hat to make this.... As I was going through my photos, I came across a baby photo with blue eyes - the mouth and the eyes of santa are of a young baby... the Beard was painted from a photo of a homeless man.
.... and what INSPIRED ME THE MOST WAS... seeing that drawing tablet as a prize... I draw with a mouse and I've been told by many artists here I need to get a drawing pad - I'M CROSSING MY FINGERS
TODAY THE BRONCOS TAKE ON THE STEELERS IN THE PLAYOFFS....please pray for it to snow in Denver durring this time - it would give the Broncos the edge and with the Steelers being last years AFC Champions, Denver needs all the help they can get.

Broncos 23 Steelers 19.. 505 years eh? well i'm in that same boat my friend, if i did not remove alot of my images over the last 5 years i would have about 900 images posted to date. hope to see another 5.5 years with you Mike and Beyond.. well deserved bro.this year is our year, i just made second on shifters evolution in the december contest and for new year i received a ton of products lol. and then i made image of the week,ute made 2 images of the week on shifters and on digitaldownunder heheheheh.

Over the top! Awesome pic. You've got my vote. Great idea with the cookie and his expression is priceless. Awesome work tying all the elements together, especially the baby parts. The eyes an mouth give him a chubby innocence. Excellent work.
