Description
Captured 1/5/12, inside the exquisitely beautiful Cerritos Shopping Mall in beautiful Cerritos, California.
Extremely ZOOM worthy.
The second and last collage of the mall series. The bench in #1 was relatively common in the mall, perhaps about two or three of the comfy #2 were on site, fotos #3 and #4 are of the same one and was so unique that I had to take two pics, and is possibly my favorite out of the entire bunch at the mall.
Perpetually the busiest store in the vast mall with its Nordstom, Sears, Macy's and Victoria's Secret? Easily the Apple Store, with its iMacs, iPhones, iPods, ad infinitum. Always draws huge throngs.
Cheerybye, thankx for popping in, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

A very cool collection of them Harry, nice work once again

I love that long, curved bench too, Harry...and I can't imagine a whitish sofa is a busy place like a mall.

Oh my, that curving metal design is far and away my favourite also...what a beautiful shape, and all those curved tongues remind me somehow of a dragon. This one eclipses all the others! Well captured, and another excellent addition to your series!

Only the second one looks comfortabe to me, but perhaps if I tried the last one it might be okay.

I like the curvy ones too. They look pretty sturdy. Benches in public places get a lot of wear and tear. Excellent shots!

iSee! Great collage Harry. The couch does look comfy but I agree that the curved bench is my fav also. Also like the stone work in the center.

another fun series, and really very abstract captures too, esp the first and second. The first is made by the diagonal leading to a flower pot, against that minimal floor. A fine minimalist shot. The second is made by the interplay of planes: The rug against the floor in the background (with planes in it), against the verticals of table and pole and tree (tree! indoors I assume), and the sofa in the middle of it. A fine study in the contrast of lines and forms. The third is panoramic, with the mall behind, and I agree with you and denise about it being a favorite, though the design in the 1st two is still very fine. And the last one is closer and lets us see it with a more minimal background (though it's nice to see a woman & stroller back there). It is a beautiful bench, with "dragon tongues" as Denise suggests; it lends itself to manipulations too. Another fine and fun, and very design-oriented bench montage from you. I'll do more benches in the coming days and weeks. And Harry, you're a prince to put up with my 2 and 3 uploads per day, where you comment on every one. Please know, if you ever can't, or are tired, or have too many other artists to get to, it'll be fully understood! Your track record allows you anything you need, in my book. Just know I greatly appreciate your commenting on all of them, as it's not easy to make 3 stops in one gallery when you have so many others to see. But know you have free passes anytime you need them...I'm gonna try to cut it back a little anyway. I feel I've 'abused' the Gallery Plus privilege a little bit...
