I'm not sure what all to say about myself, I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan (USA) and work as a graphic designer/computer technician for a print shop. I have a BS in Historic Preservation, but wasn't willing to go on for a Master's Degree, nor was I interested in teaching, so I found another career. I discovered Bryce way back when version 1 came out, but I didn't really get serious about the program, or 3D art in general, until a few years ago. When I'm not in front of the computer, I'm either making costumes or wearing them to a renaissance festival, or building a new rock-sculpture, or possibly wandering with a camera.
When I'm not making something, odds are I'm reading from my far too wide range of interests: Astronomy, Cosmology, Physics, Archeology, Anthropology, History, Current Events, NASA (of course) and anything else that happens to catch my attention. It's really hard to find enough time to do all of the things I want to be doing! What drew me to Renderosity is the many excellent artists who continue to inspire me to push myself as an artist. More recently I've added a selection of stuff to another online gallery location:http://nefariousdro.deviantart.com/Â

Wow! You should make a fire pit in the middle, then at night, it would look like the stone figures are all sitting around the fire....

Well, hopefully this will invoke some snow for you, Mike! These balanced rock constructs are really a neat form of art. After a few days they re-arrange themselves (fall down) and you get to recreate something again - and it's always a little different. Very cool! It's almost like performance art. Either that, or you're secretly communicating with space aliens.... :-D Either way, I like it!

This gives a new meaning to a slow dance. This is a fine arrangement and photograph. We haven't had much snow here in Colorado, either.

There's a book called Slow Dancing with the Angel of Death. Somehow that title came to mind as I sat looking at this. I suppose winter could be considered the friend of the Angel of Death, when plants go dormant and whatnot. I hope your slow-dancing stones produce the desired result!

Great title and lovely circle of dancing stones~ Very appropriate sentiment! I like the suggestion of making a small fire in the center (out of twigs would be neat but then ... you'd be releasing more stored-up carbon and adding to the non-snow global warming... < my mind wanders... lol But perhaps a little fire would not hurt too much!)

Love the image! I hope the dance works 'cause we sure do need some snow. Winter in MI sure seems weird. Maybe I need to move to NM?

We're waiting for snow here in southern Oregon too - way overdue. Fascinating, gravity defying constructions here...
