Description
Taken in Kabul. Let's change the beat for a moment here. This is something you can see all over in Afghanistan and the little girls absolutely love it. Be they on top of a wheelbarrow, proudly pushed by some bearded Afghan father, or frequently, as you can see here, on the motorcycle. So one wonders, what happens between then and when they are forced to cover all up and become modest, dominated, and domesticated creatures under blue burkas? The father-daughter relationship totally appears to change.

Such a different culture. I don't think it's something that can be "understood," only experienced. They certainly do look serious about their ride!

Sad irony I guess, but at least they have this 'easy rider' moment together for a while, enjoy it while it lasts kiddo ! The stern looks are due to fuel price increase, cheap day is thursday, but today is only monday and they are almost empty...LOL ! ~Cheers~
