Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! When I was young, back in the sixties, we took a flight from Jefferson City, Mo. to Oklahoma City, OK. on a civilian C46. It was an interesting introduction to aviation for me. I am still looking forward to my first flight on a C47 though.

As a Canadian (and fellow fan of Buffalo Airways -- the program is called "Ice Pilots: NWT" over here) it gladdens me to see this plane. It also gladdens me to see the stewardess, though she might be a little cold dressed like that up in the Northwest Territories. ;)

Oh, my. Hired from Froggy's team at a certain island, right? And they shed some attire once airbourne, right? And Buffalo flies you right to that island, right? IF you can afford the ticket, right? There was a day when flying was an experience to be enjoyed, as opposed to a glorified cattle car that flies. While technecally the 737 is light years beyond the Gooney Bird, it is certain that no one will ever give a 737 an affectionate nick name that stays with it 77 years after its first flight. Excellent Image, very Nostalgic.
