Description

The Sydney Opera House was designed by Danish architect Joern Utzon (1918-2008). It is situated on Bennelong Point and opened in 1973. It has become not only the symbol of Sydney but of Australia. It is one of the most recognizable structures on Earth. This picture was taken from the street level of the Sydney Harbour Bridge on 28 December 2011, Sig..

Very nice picture. I can remember in 1971 November they were still building this opera house and was only the metal frame. I had went to Sydney on R&R from Viet Nam. Lovely place and enjoyed Kings Cross too LOL
