Description
I shot this today. After driving 2 hours to get there, I found I only had minutes to set up the shot before getting wet! Flinders is a historic town south of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located on the Mornington Peninsula at the point where Western Port meets Bass Strait. The town was apparently named by George Bass after his friend, the explorer and British naval officer Captain Matthew Flinders. Best viewed zoomed.

Cool shot! although I have to wonder about the people who leave their boats open to the weather.....

I've always loved the sea and/or ocean. This picture makes me long for them even more. Nice shot!

Could so easily be Poole Harbour. How weird is that comment from Mike!

I guess if you have a boat purely as a pleasure craft you may have the luxury of taking it home. But when it's a fishing vessel that goes out every day then it pretty much lives in the ocean!
