Description

Out of ideas? Looking for something to flex your grey muscle? Want to push your skills? Try and recreate this photo in whatever app you like. I use Poser 8 and will of course play along by posting my own WIP as I make progress. Special considerations are shadow on the water, reflection, ripples, refraction and "murkiness" of the water itself, and of course the dynamics of the pose. There is no prize or judges panel for this. The benefit is a better understanding of your rendering app and the satisfaction of the result. I do realize that the photo itself is poorly composed and of low quality, but I am not after platitudes for the picture. I just thought I would toss out a muse and see what other artists can come up with. I have disabled rating for this post but have left comments on. Discuss ... Have fun and message me when you post to the gallery. I would love to see your WIPs or finsihed render.

Ha ha, I didn't realize that he looks like he is, um, er, "filling the lake" lol. No, you do not have to make your figure pee :-D I should add that you can use whatever character and clothing you like, but extra challenge to recreate the clothing style.

This is not a render - it is a photo The idea of the post was to present a challenging scene to reproduce so people could get inspired. I am working on reproducing this photograph in Poser and invited others to try it too. Sorry if I was not clear enough :-)
