Description

Reusable Tanker Atmospheric Entry This is an on-going series. See Mars terraforming image links below. Plasma begins to build up beneath the nose and along the leading edges of the wings as the Reusable Tanker begins its descent into Titan’s Atmosphere. The Reusable surface to orbit Tanker is an un-crewed autonomous vehicle, about 350 feet in length -- a four engine gas-core nuclear light-bulb powered VTO/L craft with an integral thermal protection system -- designed for the purpose of delivering recovered materials (nitrogen & methane) to Titan orbit – here these atmospheric gasses will be transferred to the expandable tanks aboard the Mission Service Transporter for a later return flight to Mars where they will see application in the Martian terraforming process.. The image of Titan is a processed composite taken from Cassini Mission images enhanced with level adjusted images of Earth’s atmosphere as seen from the ISS – original photo credit’s NASA/JPL. All models my own. Models constructed in Bryce 6.5 and rendered in Bryce 7 Pro. As always thank you for your interest, thoughtful comments, and encouragement.
