Description

Reusable Tanker Vertical Descent This is an on-going series. See Mars terraforming image links below. The Reusable Tanker makes a STS style entry into Titan’s atmosphere, performing the same type of hyper-sonic post-entry S-curve maneuvers to shed velocity. Here the vehicle is shown in the transition from horizontal to vertical descent, no more than a thousand feet above the landing zone, the pop-out vertical descent thrusters firing. Shortly before touch-down landing gears will be extended and the wings will fold to their up-right position for ease of ground-crew access. All models my own. Models constructed in Bryce 6.5 and rendered in Bryce 7 Pro. As always thank you for your interest, thoughtful comments, and encouragement.
