I've been wrestling with Poser while working on an anniversary card for some married friends of mine. Poser seems to be winning.
I thought I'd set that aside for a while and take us back to Cambodia.

Once inside the outer wall, you approach the temple of Angkor Wat along a wide processional road. In ancient times the area on either side of this road was filled with water, turning the temple compound into an island.

I was just wondering where you'd got to! :) This is an amazing view. I can so easily imagine the water, and how nice it would be to walk across that bridge and see the city floating like a mirage. Beautiful!

Excellent use of perspective. This gives us the idea of the magnificence of the place. What happened with the water?

"A Holiday in Cambodia" - lyrics by the Dead Kennedy's' - the words come to my mind, almost every time I read the word 'Cambodia' ... I am sure you are familiar with them as well, Mark? great POV and I do like tourists actually walking along there, BB (The song attacks both Eastern totalitarianism and Western complacency. The song's lyrics offer a satirical view of young, self-righteous Americans and contrast such a lifestyle with a brutal depiction of the Pol Pot regime of Cambodia)
