Description
Just inside the main entrance to the temple is an 11th century statue of the Hindu god Shiva. It is treated as a living being by believers. Food offerings are left at its feet. It is bathed and dressed in fine cloths. Such things cannot be left to chance and Shiva has a person whose life is dedicated to watching over and caring for the deity. What sort of person would do this? Tomorrow.

Both images are great, but the one of Shiva is my favorite!It,s amazing how people show their faith.Some people can not understand these acts, but to me if they make sense. This goes beyond a stone statue. It has to do with our concept of divinity and its relationship with us, and the desire to be part of that divinity.
