UPDATED: September 19, 2010
Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

Thank you for sharing my friend. No snow can be seen here in Pretoria , but saw snow when in Lived in Newcastle, Kwazulu Natal. Stunning capture my friend. God Bless.

Nice shot Bill. I wonder how much you will have in the morning!

Look's great. You must get some snowfall whereas all we have at the moment is the usual rain.

I love the curve of that main branch arcing across the image, with the smaller spokes radiating out. It gives the composition good "bones," as it were. Beautifully done!

You can't have good weather till after we have had it.. :-).

Super composition Bill, Tara is spot on with her comment. BTW the windows in my posting y/day are for light only.

Awww, don't wish it gone so quickly, I've waited all this time for winter! This is lovely, Bill; I got some rather like this yesterday at work while waiting to see if any patients were going to show up.

That looks like a pretty heavy accumulation of snow on those branches - wish we had some, nothing but rain here...

Stellar clarity and stark contrast in this once in a lifetime pic, Bill. Since it's such a rarity, you should revel in the joy of a wonderful winter featuring snow in Seattle.

Brrrr - cold, but what a delightful snow shot, Bill! Looks like one of those wet, clingy snows. Great for photography (or making snowballs).

EXCELLENT WORK

Your snow looks quite deep here. An excellent capture but I guess that means we only have 62 days of summer left.
dragonmuse
An all too familiar sight of late. Nicely captured though.
tennesseecowgirl
I can not wait for spring thanks for the countdown.

Always amazes me the weight of snow a branch will take without breaking, a great example of this
