Description

Smith Rock, Central Oregon October, 2011 Drive to Smith Rock, all the way to the end of the road, and there's a small parking lot that gives access to a tiny outdoor amphitheater. Ceremonial venue. Whatever. If you want to have a memorial service or a wedding or any other sort of thing you can imagine, you can do it here with dramatic Smith Rock in the background. We're already married, so I just took pictures. :D Zoom is good.

The vista off to the left looks pretty good too! This is a terrific image. Your title reminded me of an old Charles Schultz Peanuts cartoon where Snoopy was writing one of his stories. It began this way; "He never stood on Ceremony. Whenever he tried, Ceremony would push him off." Yes, the mind works in mysterious ways, especially mine. That's why I have so many friends.

This is a spectacular picture. the clarity is almost unreal. I would print and frame this. This brings back so many memories of our travels growing up. My mother made every trip an adventure. I miss the beauty of the west and north west.
