Description
Sipapu Bridge, is the third natural bridge, at the National Monument, in Utah. It is also the largest at 220 feet (67.06 meters) high, with a 268 foot (81.69 meter) span, 31 feet (9.449 meters) wide and 53 feet (16.15 meters) thick. Sipapu is the strongest of the posted bridges since its supporting walls are further away from the erosive stream bed. This photo was taken from the rim of White Canyon and it was much bigger that it looks. Photo taken with my trusty old Pentax film camera, in 1996 and recently scanned. Please zoom!
