Description

A long time ago in a place far, far away...she greets the light of a new day, a new beginning for her world, and the bright promise of great things to come. This is my first image produced in DAZ 4 Advanced. As many of you know I still produce all of my images on a 13 inch MacBook with a Duo Core processor. The only tools of my trade are a touchpad and my finger! Keeping that in mind, let me say I am happy so far with DAZ 4. The biggest improvement for us Mac users is that it now comes in a 64 bit version for Mac. This greatly improves my workflow, and especially render times. I am still trying to get use to the interface, but its not bad. The autofit tool is really nice for clothing your Genesis characters, but it does use a bit more CPU. V5, featured here, is great to work with, but definitely needs some good textures. DAZ 4 crashes no more frequently for me than DAZ 3 did, and it is almost always because I am overtaxing my little processor. So far I am happy, and I hope you like my new beginning image. I haven't used daz program... genesis looks great how everything can adapt... I'm hoping daz makes genesis posible in poser, but I don't see that happening for a while if ever.

Great work on this one my friend.. I have Daz 4 also but at the moment having to much fun on Poser 9.. I did find the menus on Daz 4 not as nice as Daz 3 with the side tags instead of the tags at the top and the menus in the different places. Also there no big back button if you put a texture on and don't like it you have to go to the edit tab and go back.. Just some of the changes that I don't like.. I did like the auto fit though it was cool :-)

You know...... It STILL blows my mind that you do this incredible work on a 13-inch laptop, Marco! AND with a touchpad...... Amazing! You're using The Force, aren't you?? :-D This is just spectacular, Marco! Looks like you and DAZ are beginning a wonderful partnership! I have the free version of D4 - haven't even unzipped it yet, and probably won't try to do anything with it until things here calm down a bit.
