Description

A little explanation about our condo association concerning last nights posting. The complex was built about 25 years ago. Retiring people, averaging 65 years old, bought condos, at that time, in south Florida, in this condo complex. That means that most of the people living here are in their late 80s and 90s. We bought here in 2000. We are 69 and 71 years old. I am a member of the board of directors that manages this condo association. The aging process had taken three board members in 2011. We have a new board and I was elected president. The three new people, that were just elected to the board, are not prepared to take over any responsibilities at this time. So last years treasure and myself are running the association. I do not take the samurai sword to meetings. The sword is as sharp as a razor blade but is a reproduction. At this time, I am not able to post every day and I am way behind on my commenting. This is a Mexican style Pinata. It is full of candy and small toys. The younger children beat it with sticks until it bursts open and all the treats fall out. Everybody has a fun time and then the margaritas are served. Zoom works! Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

where were you to take this picture, particularly the background? the background is awesome. I contracted for a few condo associations and they were a pain dealing with some of the eccentric people living there.luckily the presidents were cool people and I could ignore the residents pretty much

We do not have a condo association here but in other thing's we also found that some people in position's simply wanted to be there for the title only--They should be using this Pinata since they generally act like children...

Their condo seem to have a lack of windows, LOL! Look after yourself first Dana, don't let them work you like a rented mule!

The Pinata is a great idea fo a kids party and that climbing wall in the background looks great, and don't work to hard we don't want you to finish up like the other three.

We have had some at some of our kids parties in the past, and they are always popular. Good luck with you association and don't let any of those 80 year olds get out of hand. :)

Wow, busy, busy, busy in this all encompassing snap of the pinata contrasted against the tree and what I assume is your condominium complex, constructed in an Aztec or Mayan motif. Your condo association load of responsibilities seem challenging.

A very colourful Pinata set against a marvellous looking background. I hope as the new residence get trained up your work load will decrease a little so that you get some time to yourself. Take care.

I was used to seeing these sold in convenience stores in Southern California when I was a kid; not too many up here in the cold Northwest. Excellent shot, Dana!
