Description
It arrived three days ago and had sat silently above the plain. Radar couldn't see it, infrared barely picked it up. Even the heat signature from the engines had died to a background level. It just sat and it silently waited.
The humans had watched it from a distance and blasted it with every frequency of radio, every form of communication they could think of. And still it silently waited.
On the third day they sent two gunships for a closer look.
The silence would soon be over.
