Description
My new model. Started yesterday morning and almost finished today. Just more detail on the command module and then working out how to texture it.
It's about 2000 feet long. So not as crazy big as some models I've made.
12 Engines seemed excessive. But it seemed better balanced than with 8 or 6, which it had originally.
So, it must be pretty quick.
Wings model, Carrara render.
Thanks for looking.

Great design work. Did you sleep at all from the morning you started to now? :)

Sweet modeling, Phil! I'm assuming you'll fix the "roundness" of the radar dishes and the fittings (hinges?) connecting the engine housings to the ship(whines the guy who hasn't modeled anything useful in Wings for eons, LOL). Amazing work.

Great looking model!

Great modelling... would like to create an image with it ;-)

Nothing wrong with 12 engines, a fine number which gives it an imperial feel to it (name me one great empire which used base-10). Excellent model.

Great model and presentation...can't wait to see how you texture it!

marvelous work

Good model. Lots of interesting little details. I have been trying to thing what role this could play. With that much engine power and all of those comms I'm thinking fast scout.

Another beautiful model. I'm looking forward to seeing it textured and in a scene.

Very nice model. Looks like it could be a great ship to travel on!

everything is highly detailed till you get to the very front of the ship then it looks like you kinda rushed it to get finished

Totally agree. I was never happy with the front end (rarely am) so I did tweak it a bit on the later renders.
