Yikes! I'm sure it's quite safe, but I would be afraid it wouldn't be able to lift off the ground. What a strangely shaped craft indeed! And your photos are excellent, as always!

I thought this a bizzar aircraft after Rob's post, this reinforces that...but even more bizzar was a Google image search for more pictures. This brought up a Vietnamese postage stamp showing 2 NVA shooting one of these down in flames! Cool collage mate, some nice detail, just can't get over the time lapse and each one having it's own parking space..

An excellent collage of this unusually shaped helicopter. Banana is an apt discription. Each photograph is excellent too and give us a good look at it.

I would love to see one of these unusual helicopters. I really enjoy watching them. I think they would be lots of fun to fly, though I understand not every pilot can learn to fly a helicopter. Thanks for the good look at this one.

Fascinating machine.

I like this collage too, Harry. My service was in Navy helicopters. Never flew in anything like that. All 5 shots are wonderful.

Great shots!

Looks as good as your antique car collages Harry. Like all the angles, sharpness, clarity and detail. I remember seeing a few of these in Vietnam in 1965...the same year they were replaced by the UH-1 jet engined Huey.
