Description

Captured 1/9/12, early morning, not far from my halcyon habitat. Second and last in this dizzying madcap series of mall filter distortions, with the undistorted original on top. Back to the usual serious stuff tomorrow. A ZOOM will have you feel that you're right there. Cheerio, thankx for the visit, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

Wilder still. Yesterday's shots from a 6.1 quake. Today's from a 7.9! You're having too much fun with this. Way to go Harry.

I'm still thinking big earthquakes...looks like the earth shook her head and said "Whew! I think I need to lie down!" Great work, Harry!

Some of these border on fractals. And you've gone further with the curvy variations into geometric layouts and cellular types of 'colonies'. (#3 exemplifies that perfectly.) They seem, in this set, more about atomic energies and mathematical permutations. The last one feels pulled by magnetic forces. You said "back to the usual serious stuff tomorrow," but these always welcome in my book, as they seem to be by a number of your fans. Fun & fine work with one image. (And, as I said, the original image is a fine architectural shot.)
