Description

That would be durleybeachbum and MrsRatbag. Captured 1/27/12, early morning, within walking distance of my semidomesticated digs. The splendor of oxidation. Originally employed as nighttime blockage for a business parking lot, this chain hasn't been used for years. ZOOM a must to appreciate the texture. Arrivederci, thankx for tuning in, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

Why, thankyou Harry! I trust there is no subliminal sybolism in the choice of subject matter: I am sure not, as you are a gentleman.

Well they certainly don't want 'whatever' to get away, if the number of times they have wound this chain around the pole is anything to go by. Great colours in this rusty chain.

Very symmetrical and full of rusty textures. There should have been a padlock for Andrea.

Wow, what a plethora of rust and peeling enamel, Harry; a wonderful collection of colours and textures. I don't know how I missed this when you posted it, I'll just have to plead early senility. I very much appreciate the dedication of this magnificent collection of links!
