Description

Just a fancy name for a Chive, Andrea - promise no Garlic involved! ;) Never-the-less a very tasty & great blood-cleanser, also handy to keep Vampires in check! *** My last post was a combo of 2 photos into 1 - and just to take it up a notch today - it's 3 in 1, because I can! LOL Seeing I am only posting once per week - it seems a fair thing, don't you? BTW that wall behind the chive has come in really handy, several times now! as a BG in my photography - it's cement-rendered by 'moi' - ages ago ... I think I need to get out more. ;) Cheers *BB* (aka blondeblurr)

Well done, Brigitte. This has a wonderful graphic quality. I love garlic and can say I've never been bitten in the neck by any lady. Not necessarily vampires. Probably just put off by the garlic.

You don't need to get out more with a garden like yours and such great art skills! A very contemporary image, maybe you should have a go at fresco!

The different layers really add up to something rather special, nicely composed and tweaked BB ! So what's next ?...a 4 layered Vampire death extravaganza ? a salad undressing or dressing ? Julia G in a bikini ?...on second thoughts hold that last one...LOL ! Very well done & ~Cheers~

layering a difficult ( and for me mostly impossible) but this shows the subtle beauty of what you can accomplish... the different hues and background textures...do you have a local coffee house that lets artists display their work? this really needs an audience.... (oh and didn't Shakespeare refer to garlic as "the sweet rose of mirth"?)

It was very hard for me to chose which of your two most recent images to comment on. They were both screaming, "Me, me!" most vociferously. I think I could describe the reasons why I love your mushroom picture more easily. This one hits me on a more visceral level, but it packs quite a wallop. I love the lines and textures, and the combination of geometrical lines and natural ones. I see the bottom two layers together and love the way they both contrast and compliment the top layer. The texture of the top layer is wonderful for its detail, variation, and solidity. I love all those things, but mostly I just love looking at it and the feelings, not totally understood, that it engenders in me. Beautiful art!
