I looked down...and sank to my knees.
There...right there on my doormat, resting on top of one of my old towels, was a stuffed toy donkey.
"Oh, my God," I whispered.
My heart was racing. The gifts left on my doorstep could only mean one thing.
Jessica Bell was still alive!
