Description
After our somber visit to the Killing Fields memorial Pol decided to take us for a visit to a little village in the countryside to lift our spirits. Along the way we stopped several times to take in the scenery.
Here is the classic Asian picture; water buffalo, farmers at work, rice paddies.
Mark: Why is that woman yelling?
Pol: She wants us to go away so she can finish
her work.
(Click!)
Mark: Ok, I guess we should go and leave her
alone.

Very classic and beautifully captured! I love the lines of the fields and the tall trees. She makes an already lovely picture excellent, with her position, bright colored skirt, and traditional hat. Excellent shot!

Such a beautiful pic, and whatever her feelings she is perfectly placed. Small comfort to her, I'm sure.

A scene I have seen on numerous occasions in Viet Nam. Brings back many memories, some good, some not. Outstanding capture!!!!

It looks peaceful - no high-rise buildings, streets, cars, tourism. There is a picture of the lives of people in this region.
