Another photo from that bitingly cold day in 2006 when I went out to photograph the hoar frost.
These are the bushes in front of the building facing my apartment building. They look like star bursts made of ice, hence my naming them frost bursts, like frozen fire works. Unfortunately all the bushes have recently been cut down or removed as they became vary large, obstructing the view from the windows on the first floor.
No post from me yesterday - up at 06:15, home at 20:00 dead tired, and freezing (again). Was -20 C. / -4 F. yesterday.
Hope you enjoy this one in the warmth of your home.

I see what you mean about being tired mate, sounds like my Wednesdays at the moment! Your right about this bush looking like a frozen firework in mid explosion! Have a more restful? Tuesday mate - off to work now ;)

Why did they cut them down? Because they blocked the view? Well mate as far as I'm concerned, they either should not have planted them so close OR NOT built the building there! Not chopped them down.. I cannot stand that.. But, the photo itself, just beautiful... Shame you won't get any more there like this! And sorry to bitch! Rob

A fine target for an interesting photo. Winter is really putting the bite on you. Spring is around the corner...but the corner is just a little too far away still:)
