Well, it finally came... the snow. Two inches/5 cm. to south Sweden. And it's still coming down, tiny flakes, no wind. What you see in the image has now changed. The ground is all white. You can't see where little putt-putt has shovelled away the snow. It's actually a misnomer to cal the little red service tractor little "putt-putt" since it runs on electricity, it's the plow which makes the racket - a booming hollow scraping sound that is enough to wake anyone! It's still standing out there, looking forlorne, with a good covering of snow, as though it feels defeated. But, the sand sure is needed. There are treacherous patches of ice under the snow. NOT fun to put one's foot on! But the white beauty makes the dak days a lot lighter!
Enjoy!

I can hear the hollow-ringing boom as the scoops thuds onto the pavement and scrapes its way through a parking lot or down the street. Snowplows are quieter but have their own sounds. A good pic to keep us up on what's happening outside your apartment. Stay warm if you can:)

I know about ice under snow, as a trip to Nevada back when I had a FJCruiser.it normally takes about 6 1/2 hours to drive from Dallas to Amarillo.I left around 5 am and did not arrive until 3:30 because less than half way I got into a major blizzard (10") with solid ice underneath.still drove on snow all the way half way across New Mexico.good it was a four wheel drive
