My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Very nice capture Tara I like the moss as well but my parents are of the mind that it doesn't belong on the lawn

Great POV and a neat scenic shot!

Are these those itsy bitsy tiny shroomz, the ones that are way smaller than the tip of your pinkie? I love these! What a wonderful find! Did you get down on your belly or just put the camera down on the ground to get this shot?

Great shot!

They certainly look like a little bit of magic ;) we have the same problems with moss and humidity - and I don't mind either ... it's really very attractive to look at (I am bored with lawn-mowing, it literally grows under your feet, maybe we should get a couple of sheep?) So, did you go down and low? BB

Superb capture Tara. God Bless.

The are so cute! Your photo shows a fairly rich habitat: my local cemetery is pretty arid in comparison, I think they use chemicals, and they mow far too often.

Terrific to see, nice.

A VERY SURPRISING SHOT, TARA. LOVE THE DETAILS.

They remind me of something on the 'Magic' side..... I'm sure I have seen them before.. Only from an observing point of view you understand! A fine shot, I don't mind a bit of moss either! Rob

I half expect little tiny elves or fairies to appear--wonderful shot!!

We have pepples all over our cemetary, not as lovely as this soft grass and moss and the tiny shrooms are just delightful. !!!

Outstanding POV!!!

Glad you captured these little guys or are they guys and girls? lol. This is where your pivoting LED screen really comes in handy. Fine job:*

Excellent close up work.

How lovely to see these shrooms coming through the grass and moss. I love moss too and I hate it when I have to spray some of it. A beautiful capture.

Nice shot. I'm a fan of moss too, as well as mushrooms (for their fascinating structural diversity - I actually don't like the taste much - unless they're stuffed with something really good)...

That's a lovely shot of these cool little 'fun guys' LOL! Don't get much moss here - just on (non-rolling) stones...

Great scene

When I see pictures like this I almost expect to see tiny woodland elfs under the mushrooms. By the way, I am with you on the moss. It is a beautiful green carpet that does not have to be cut!
