My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

OW! ;-D Really cool composition, Tara! Only you can make art out of barbed wire, my friend! That takes talent and a practiced eye!

Very cool capture hopefully people will get the point

This may just be barbed wire keeping people off the train tracks but the image as composed really has a lot of impact. Absent your description, this could have meaning for any number of people. Jews, Japanese and Hispanics come to mind. Very well done.

Nice capture.

The diverging diagonals catch my eye. And I like how the sun seems to be leaking in from the left. Niceeee:)

Fantastic compo; how far along the barbed wire did you have to go to get this wonderful crossing of the strands? And the blue sky behind is perfect. Great DOF too; all in all, a wonderful shot!

A powerful composition. We have kids here who play chicken on the tracks in spite of warnings and barriers...

Even the slightly tempered with barbwire can't keep out the endless, silent ocean-view - 'no, no, they can't take that away from us' ;) BRILL, Tara BB

Very evocative use of a simple object, giving the image lots of punch.
