did you use a texture map in the refraction channel for the mason jar? One thing I always liked about them is the uneven thickness of the glass distorts the refraction and makes it more interesting...Kinda like those rocks working the light in the glass of scotch

Now this is good. Good composition, balance and modeling. Only thing that I would do differently is put less reflection in the metal of the roller, nuts and screw driver. Just seems too silvery or something. Maybe it's the shininess. Love the shelf holders. Very nice touch that shows real attention to detail. It gets a vote from me.

Great lighting (I suspect global indirect). Love the glass material and caustic refraction. Even the slight glare on the glossy callendar is natural. Lovely work with an unusual subject.

yet another outstanding work. i havent had chance to work with carrara, but i wouldnt mind if i ever got the chance. looks reaally nice.
