Description
the river Ebble which flows through the Chalk valley. The hills in the distance have an ox drove traversing them. This begins as far away as the Sussex downs and carries on to the Dorset town of Shaftesbury a journey of about 120 miles. over the other side of the hill is the Nadder valley my home valley as i was growing up. All these valleys eminate from Salisbury. The Ebble as with all the other valleys around here are flowing over chalk which makes them crystal clear.
