A stunning shot, Alan! I have never noticed this on my visits..maybe too obsessed by swimming on that steep beach. My eye can't 'read' the patterns beyond the roofs, I have no idea why.

Good composition, Alan. I like the way that they are all huddled up, squashed together like stranded, up ended rowing boats, situated on a slope both ways, and no doubt prohibitively expensive for young, local, married couples, if the coastal pattern up here applies..
