Description
A barren tree of some sort, captured 2/17/12, early in the morning, not far from my decorous digs.
A ZOOM is highly recommended.
Au revoir, thankx for popping in, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

Nice shot, Harry. Reminds me of a huge Porcupine. Leaves are a bit "maple-ish".

And what a wonderful sky to be naked against; it appears that some sort of divine address is about to come forth from the breaking clouds behind. I have no idea what kind of tree it is, but it looks like it's fairly prolific in its growing phase! Excellent capture, Harry!

This is a beautiful series of patterns and also a perfect example of the results of over trimming.

Cool looking and dramatic Harry.. Not the healthiest looking tree I've seen, looks like Man has done one of his 'It Will look better like this' jobs on it.. Then it doesn't of course! But cool shot.. Rob

Bet that would be a painful place to try to build a nest, interesting looking tree, thanks for sharing.

This looks like a pretty spooky image, and reminds me especially of a poem we learned in school: "Der Erlkoenig" ... by J.W.von Goethe (about a Father and his dying son, riding on a horse late one night, to save his feverish and hallucinating son trying to find help, while they are flying past, exactly these sort of trees - as the story goes!) Marvellous image, BB

I love the overall shape, the lines against the sky, and the few leaves hanging tenaciously on. Beautiful image!
